VeganYumYum is a popular, award-winning food blog that came to mediumbold with a unique request: Create a mobile application that showcases its hundreds of free, home-made recipes, as well as step-by-step, high quality photos.
Taking advantage of the iPhone’s high resolution color screen and network connectivity, mediumbold developed an application, distributed through the iTunes App Store, that provides a searchable recipe database. The application automatically updates its recipe database when new recipes are available, and can function as a standalone application when network connectivity is unavailable. The design clearly conveys each step of the recipe and showcases the author’s high-quality food photography.
