With complementary skill sets and sensibilities, they exemplify the balance required to sustain creative and technological excellence.
Nars Krishnamachari – Principal and Technology Director
Nars acts as a solutions architect across client engagements. He guides web strategy development and ensures that priorities and functionality requirements result in a technical architecture and implementation approach best suited to individual project needs. Nars specializes in enterprise architecture, content/document management solutions, and systems integration. Nars has successfully delivered solutions to Legg Mason, Vermont Law School, Harvard University Dining Services, Manulife Financial, Fidelity Investments, Gartner Group, Estée Lauder Companies, Wisconsin Power & Light, and Swarovski Crystals. Prior to joining mediumbold, Nars was technology director for Razorfish Boston. Nars received his MS in Information Systems from Northeastern University.
Michael Brandt – Founder
Michael is responsible for ensuring the strategic and creative excellence of our work. A passionate designer, he understands that interactive media requires a new way of presenting information and a new set of tools. He knows what is possible, when to push the medium, and how to bring it all to fruition. In his 20+ years in the design industry, Michael has led teams in the completion of projects for clients such as PUMA, Vermont Law School, Keds, 3M, Estée Lauder Companies, and Harvard University. Prior to founding mediumbold, Michael was design director for Razorfish Boston. Michael received a BFA in Graphic Design from Rhode Island School of Design.
Oriana Anholt – Founder
The "medium" in mediumbold, Oriana's role is to bring order to the visual and technical design process. Her focus is on ensuring that information and interactions are designed to satisfy both users' goals and organizations' objectives. She also ensures that clients' needs are met and provides direction and framework for each of our projects. She has led design and design analysis projects for clients such as Children's Hospital Trust, Fidelity, MIT, and Estée Lauder Companies. Prior to founding mediumbold, Oriana was director of information architecture at Razorfish Boston. Oriana received her BFA in Industrial Design from Rhode Island School of Design.
